Kart Trak Boomland, Boom na Boom, Jalandoni St., Roxas Blvd., Pasay City

I finally had the chance to do what I had dream of during my childhood days...

Helmets seems to be collecting dust...
Balaclava seems needed...

(Side Note: I was the only driver the whole time) :D

The go-kart seems a bit old but it can still go fast... (if you're brave enough)

The track is wide enough to make fast turns, which is perfect for beginners...
     It's 515m long...
My good laps is approximately between 50 and 60 secs... (didn't have a stopwatch)
So, I was doing about 31-37 kph, which seems slow... :|

     Price:
P500 - 1 Seater (for 15 min.)
P150 - Suit
P100 - Shoes
Close shoes is required and renting the suit is optional...

     Verdict:
Value: 4.0 / 5

It's worth going to if you're planning to feel the movements of a go-kart...

     Result:
2 - Spin-Outs
1 - Out of Course
1 - Tire Barricade Hit
0 - Crashes

Trellis, Matino Street (corner Kalayaan Ave.), QC

Celebrating birthday are never wild... (especially mine) I don't celebrate my birthday
on the exact date so don't go around posting/commenting about greeting and (shit)
sheez...
I chose to eat here for only 1 reason, to try out their Pork Sisig... Since Pork Sisig is a
big part of my childhood days, I need to find a restaurant to match that happiness that
goes with it...

It's not my beer though...

Not watery even with the ice halfway melted...

Trellis Iced Tea --- P50
   Value: 3.5 / 5
   Taste: 4.0 / 5

The skin's all crispy minus the stickiness... The meat's all tender and not oily...
The vegetables + oyster sauce mix well with the scrumptious (heart attack) tasty pork
meat...

Lechon Kawali served w/ Kangkong in Oyster Sauce --- P240
     Value: 3.0 / 5
     Taste: 4.5 / 5

The sizzling flavors comes from properly cooked pork insides and/or skins... This
unexpectedly went well... But, there was a little bit of aftertaste...

Pork Sisig --- P189
     Value: 4.0 / 5
     Taste: 4.5 / 5

The sauce used in the dish is strong and bursting with flavour which is not that nice
eaten without carbs(rice or bread) to balance the flavour... The good thing is that the
meat's tender and can be easily removed from the bones (not much bones or inedible
stuff though)...

Spiced Spareribs --- P240
     Value: 3.5 / 5
     Taste: 4.0 / 5

Jamba Juice + De Original Jamaican Pattie Shop, The Block, SM North Edsa, QC

I don't usually go with the the trend...

So, this'll be my first time tasting Jamba Juice...

I ordered a small (16oz.) Strawberry Wild (strawberries, bananas, apple-strawberry
juice, and frozen yogurt) and a small (16oz.) Peach Perfection (peaches, mangoes,
strawberries, peach juice, apple-strawberry juice)...

Strawberry Wild --- P135
     Value: 3.0 / 5
     Taste: 3.5 / 5

For the sweet tooth: 3.0 / 5

The drink's quite thick since it has yogurt in it... The drink's quite refreshing (which all
pure fruit juices, shakes, and smoothies have in common)... The strawberries and/or
bananas used weren't sweet enough... (might need to drink again to test the consistencies
of the fruit's sweetness)

Peach Perfection --- P155

I'm not sure if I was given the right drink since one, it's zesty, and two, it doesn't taste
anything like a drink with peaches in it... @.@

Oh well,

Peach Perfection --- P155
     Value: 3.0 / 5
     Taste: 2.5 / 5

The drink's not that thick, which is nice for a juice person... The flavours tangy and smooth...

Note: for a 16oz. drink, this is quite expensive for many people, but being healthy has (big and
 hefty) price...

(agh!!! my finger(s) is (are) in the picture)

For the solid, an order of Cheesy Beef...

Cheesy Beef --- P50
     Value: 3.5 / 5
     Taste: 3.5 / 5

The patty's quite juicy and the cheese makes it taste quite good... The dough's made
up by a lot of very thin layers of fried dough... The dough's tasteless so the beef looses
flavour as the dough gets thicker at the sides... The food's serve hot and it's not much oily,
which is quite good for a to-go food...

UNLI PIZZA DAY by Papa John's, Visayas Avenue, QC

Papa John's has a promo that made me want to try...

"Tuesday is UNLI PIZZA DAY" --- Unlimited pizza + 1 Coca-cola Drink for only P225
     4 flavors were offered today....

All The Meat,

Margherita, Hawaiian,

(no pictures since my hands was too greasy to hold the camera)

and Pepperoni...

Dough ---- about 3mm thick
     Rating: 4/5

The dough has a good mix of strong and soft... The pizza does not bend too much when
held at an angle... It's a bit dry for the mouth, and there's not much chewiness...

Crust --- about 15mm diameter
     Rating: 2.5/5

The crust wasn't good and it's not the worst... It's halfway from too-tough-that-you'll-
damage-your-gums and it-will-hug-your-mouth-like-a-pillow... Not a good thing too hear
for somebody who doesn't have teeth...

All The Meat --- P42.50/slice (1/8 of a 9" P340) [ATM]
     Taste: 4/5

The meat chunks' not too tough and cheese blends flavour well...

Margherita --- P31.875/slice (1/8 of a 9" P265) [MAR]
     Taste: 3/5

The tomato is not succulent... The tomato is too dry for it to make any flavour...

Hawaiian --- P33.125/slice (1/8 of a 9" P265) [HAW]
     Taste: 3.5/5

The amount of pineapple chunk per slice is normal... (4-5)

Pepperoni --- P33.125/slice (1/8 of a 9" P255) [PEP]
     Taste: 3/5

The pepperoni is thin enough to be cut by teeth... The flavor is also not too strong...

RESULT:SLICEP/SLICETOTAL
ATM 5 42.5 212.5
MAR 1 31.875 31.875
HAW 2 33.125 66.25
PEP 1 33.125 33.125
GRAND    TOTAL: 343.75

Tuna White Sauce for Pasta

I don't cook food unless it only involves heating, mixing, and/or stirring...

6 - cans of (I prefer using Century) Tuna --- Flakes in Vegetable Oil, drained...

4 - 250ml (Nestle also works) Tetra Paks of all-purpose cream...

1 small can of mushroom, drained...
(Not required but it adds some texture to the sauce)

Just mix the ingredients, season it to taste (I prefer Basil + Thyme + Oregano + Pepper)...
Pour (or mix) the sauce on the pasta of your choice, then add grated cheese...

Comments:
     Serving Sized: 12-16 plates

The sauce has a lot of tuna (which I prefer)...
Decreasing the tuna to 4 or 5 cans, will be  preferred by some people...

Do not add water as it may ruin the taste, and make it bland...
(you can add milk to make it creamier but you must be careful not to ruin the flavour)

infiti tea, N. Roxas (near Banawe), QC

A good way of beating the heat of the summer is by drinking a dose of milk tea...
Since infini tea (not so sure about the spelling and capitalization though) is the nearest
at that time, it's a good time to try this brand...

My choice of (poison) drink for this round is a medium-sized Dragon Milk Tea and a
medium-sized Wintermelon Milk Tea...

Dragon Milk Tea --- P65 (100% sugar, no sinkers)
   Value: 4.5 / 5
   Taste: 3.0 / 5

For the sweet tooth: 3.0 / 5

The flavor is quite unique, yet surprisingly not that good since it's watery... There is a
small kick of flavor at the end of the gulp which show a hint of cheap chocolate-like
flavour...

Wintermelon Milk Tea --- P75 (100% sugar, no sinkers)
   Value: 4.5 / 5
   Taste: 3.5 / 5

For the sweet tooth: 3.0 / 5

The drink is like a normal milk tea mixed with a strong flavouring, since there is 2
distinct flavour that can be tasted... It appears that liquid mixed with the drink does
not blend well with mik tea...

Mandarin Sky, Banawe, QC

The food's good but the (private) room's a little bit cramped...

***No food review for this restaurant since judgement was impaired due to hunger***
